SUMMER SPORTS COACHING POSITIONS 2008

The US Sports Institute is at the forefront of providing quality sports education programs and summer camps for communities, companies and schools in the North East of America.  We are dedicated to delivering a multitude of programs where children will not only have a great time in a fun filled learning environment, but also develop a wide range of fundamental skills in a variety of sports.

Suitable candidates should have a wide knowledge of sports and ideally a minimum of 2 years sports coaching experience.  You must be confident working with small and large groups, unsupervised and have the ability to motivate and bring the best out of the children you are working with.  All positions are ideally suited to students studying physical education, sports coaching and/or current educators wishing to teach, or be involved in the youth sports coaching field. 

 

 

CURRENT EMPLOYMENT OPENINGS

1. Multi Sports Coach, July 1st to Sept 1st 2008 (positions available 100)

Coaching the fundamental skills in over 15 different sports to children aged 3 to 14 on our flagship summer sports camps.

2. Tennis Instructor, July 1st to Sept 1st 2008 (positions available 12)

Teaching tennis to children of beginner and intermediate levels.  Previous tennis coaching experience is required for this position.

3. Golf Instructor, July 1st to Sept 1st 2008 (positions available 12)

Teaching Golf to children using specific equipment (oversized clubs, balls etc). Must be a competent Golfer (low handicap) and have experience working with children..

4. Sports Squirts Coach, March 15th to November 15th 2008 (positions available 2)

Coaching 5 different sports to children aged 3 to 5 years old on a weekly basis. You must have previous experience working with pre-school children. More information is available upon request.
