At a USSI camp your children will love trying lots of different sports. Our aim is to inspire and motivate them so that sport is enjoyable and rewarding whatever their ability.

USSI knows that for some children sport can be intimidating, whilst for other children sport is where they are most confident and happy. Our priority is to ensure that every child is made to feel unique and valued. A USSI camp is about gaining self-confidence and social skills through sport and activities that encourage and inspire.  Perhaps your child is a future gold medal winner, or perhaps it’s the taking part that counts, whatever their aim is in sport, US Sports Institute is committed to helping them reach their potential.

USSI is dedicated to the well being and development of all children that attend our programs.  We ensure all children have a great time learning the activity in which they are participating.  All of our coaches and staff adhere to the same coaching philosophy.

Differentiation
Our coaches are qualified to identify the stronger and weaker players within the groups they are working with.  It does not matter how experienced your child is in sports, all sessions will challenge the more developed player and the least developed player so both feel they have achieved success.

Competition
Most children enjoy playing in competitive situations.  Many activities incorporate this by setting lots of short term goals.  The main reason why people stop an activity is because it is no longer fun.  Children want to win, but it is more important that they are enjoying themselves. Studies have shown that children who think school is fun achieve more academically and develop positive learning habits. As coaches we have the ability to make all sports on the camp enjoyable.

Enthusiasm
Children of all ages respond to positive encouragement and enthusiasm. All coaches will establish a trusting relationship with the children they work with.  A high level of enthusiasm can be seen from all staff throughout the week.
